WOOM (Webster's Object-Oriented Modeling) Discussion
-
Agreed that WOOM was a good idea because...
-
It allows for understanding of the definitions of the project before implementation.
-
Everyone starts on same page - no ambiguity arising from different interpretation
of terms.
-
Provides common foundation applicable to both business and engineering
side of project.
-
Does not matter what modeling language is used as WOOM is used before project
is modeled.
-
Results in more time being spent in actual implementation than trying to
understand what is required.
-
Discussed...
-
Perhaps using a computer application to streamline WOOM development.
-
Others said WOOM was good because it increased human interaction and using
a computer application would detract from this.
