WOOM (Webster's Object-Oriented Modeling) Discussion

• Agreed that WOOM was a good idea because...
• It allows for understanding of the definitions of the project before implementation.
• Everyone starts on same page - no ambiguity arising from different interpretation of terms.
• Provides common foundation applicable to both business and engineering side of project.
• Does not matter what modeling language is used as WOOM is used before project is modeled.
• Results in more time being spent in actual implementation than trying to understand what is required.
• Discussed...
• Perhaps using a computer application to streamline WOOM development.
• Others said WOOM was good because it increased human interaction and using a computer application would detract from this.
